Welcome to my kitchen!

My name is Yann Skaalen, and by day I am the founder and CEO of Digtective. When I am not busy with that, you will find me in the kitchen, or in front of a glass of wine.

Wine found a special place in my life early on. I have been a member of Munskänkarna, the Swedish wine society, for more than 10 years, and I have tasted and rated almost 2,000 wines on Vivino. That has given me a broad view of what works in the glass, and not least what works on the plate next to it.

This blog is not a trade magazine or a restaurant review. These are the recipes I actually cook at home. Some are simple everyday dishes, others are more elaborate for the times you want to impress a little extra. I am especially fond of seafood, pasta and anything that tastes better with the right wine.
